Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Behnaz Rezaei, D.D.S., specializes in pediatric dentistry (Pedodontics) and has been treating patients at the DentaMarin Private Oral and Dental Health Clinic in Samsun since 2021. She completed her undergraduate education at the Ondokuz Mayıs University School of Dentistry between 2016 and 2021, and subsequently earned her Ph.D. in Pediatric Dentistry (Pedodontics) at the same university between 2021 and 2026.
Focusing her professional work on the protection of children’s oral and dental health, the treatment of dental diseases, and the development of healthy oral hygiene habits, Dr. Behnaz Rezaei adopts an approach that takes into account children’s age and developmental characteristics and encompasses both preventive and therapeutic dental practices.
She specializes particularly in the treatment of cavities in primary and permanent teeth, root canal treatments for primary and permanent teeth, pulpotomy procedures, extractions of primary and permanent teeth, preventive dentistry, and space-maintainer applications. She also places great importance on reducing dental anxiety in children, making the treatment process more comfortable for them, and fostering positive dental experiences.
Her scientific research focuses on pulpotomy treatments in primary teeth, the physicochemical properties and biocompatibility of mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA)-based materials, and preventive dentistry practices.  Through this research, she aims to evaluate the characteristics of treatment materials used in pediatric dentistry and to ensure that current scientific knowledge contributes to clinical practice.
Dr. Behnaz Rezaei, D.D.S., aims to protect children’s oral and dental health in the long term, raise awareness among families about oral and dental health, and provide a trust-based treatment process tailored to each child’s needs.
